Homelessness is a health emergency. People experiencing homelessness are dying decades earlier than the general population, often from preventable health issues. Last year alone, 1,611 people died while experiencing homelessness in the UK (data from the Museum of Homelessness).
At Groundswell, our support is delivered by people who have experienced homelessness themselves. 67% of our team have lived experience, and thousands of people each year access our Homeless Health Peer Advocacy (HHPA), progression support, and research work that drives systemic change.
Our Impact
