Speak Out Recipe Book

Speak Outs allowed homeless people, whose voices were previously unheard, to have a say on decisions that would affect their future.

During Era 1 these were arranged around the country and were very successful. Speak Outs established Groundswell as a force to be recognised and drew both service providers and users together to engage in meaningful conversation.

This Recipe Book captures the sense of collective action and empowerment that Speak Outs offered. It contains practical tried and tested hints and tips from Speak Out facilitators on how to organise your own successful Speak Out.
